Introduction

There is only one type of account for SendMeMore: the user account. If you have an existing Subscriber account, you do not need to create a separate List Leader account to have access to List Leader controls. Likewise, if you have a List Leader account, you do not need to create a separate Subscriber account. These two types of accounts are defined only because of function. In most cases, subscribers will not be concerned with list management functions, and vice-versa. However, all of your personal account information is universal, whether you are using List Leader account controls or Subscriber account controls. If you change your password under your List Leader account, you must log on to the Subscriber controls page with that new password. Creating a List Leader Account

If you do not currently have an account with SendMeMore, and you wish to create an email list, you can create a List Leader account in 3 easy steps.

First, go to the List Leader log on page at http://www.sendmemore.com/listowner or click on the List Leader tab in the navigation bar. Enter your email address in the form field provided, but leave the password field blank. Click the Log On button to begin creating your account.

Second, enter in the information into the form fields provided. You must set a password for your new account before continuing. Once you have entered a password, click the Create Account button to submit your new account information.

At this point an email confirmation message will be sent to the address you entered. You must reply to this message to complete the third step in the account creation process. If your account is not validated, you cannot log on. We require this confirmation step to insure that no one can forge an account with your email address, and to make sure your email address was entered correctly and is working properly. If you are trying to create a List Leader account, and you know you entered in the correct email address, but you have not received a confirmation message within 24 hours of account creation, please contact help@SendMeMore.com for assistance.

Creating a Subscriber Account

In order to create a new subscriber account with SendMeMore, you must do so while subscribing yourself to a mail list. You cannot create a subscriber account without a list subscription. If you wish to have a service account, but do not have an email list to subscribe to, consider creating a new List Leader account instead.

There are two ways to create a subscriber account.

  1. If you are subscribing yourself to an email list through a join box, simply enter your email address into the text field provided and click the Subscribe Now button. The Create Subscriber Account page will appear, with the name and description of the list you are subscribing to displayed at the top. Fill in the form fields with the personal information you wish to keep with your account. This information is optional, you may leave any fields blank. Set a password, then click the Continue button to submit your account information. When the service receives your account information, a confirmation message will be sent to your email address. You must reply to this email message to validate both your account and your subscription.

  2. If you have been sent an email invitation to join a list, and have confirmed your subscription to this list by replying to the message, then a Subscriber account has been automatically created for you. A random password has been assigned to your email address; use this password to Log On to the site and manage your account.
