Import an Existing List | |

If you would like to transfer an email list from a customer database, POS system, or another list service to SendMeMore, follow the steps below: Step 1: Setup a List Leader AccountCreate a new SendMeMore account or log on to an existing List Leader account. You must have an account with our service before we can import the list. Step 2: Start a ListCreate a new list. You will want to fill in a name and description for your new list similar to the information provided on your existing list. You will also have the opportunity to provide a "Welcome Message" to the list's subscribers. It is recommended that your message reflects the transfer of the list to the new service. Once your list has been imported, you can change the welcome message to one more appropriate for new subscribers. (For more detailed information on list creation, click here.) Step 3: Send a 'Transition Message'Send a message to your existing list, informing subscribers of the change. It is a good idea to let the members of your email list know of the transfer, because they will begin receiving messages from SendMeMore once the list has been imported. Please prepare your subscribers and make the transition smoother by giving them the details of the transfer ahead of time. Step 4: Assemble your ListCompile the email addresses of your subscribers. In order to make the importation of the list as quick and painless as possible, we require the list of email addresses of your existing list's subscribers in the following format: plain text, one address per line, and no commas, semi-colons, or extraneous characters. Please take care to reproduce all email addresses correctly (remember, a misspelled email address means you have lost a subscriber). Please do not add any email addresses that were not already on your email list. Sending unwanted email is against the The SendMeMore Terms of Use. Step 5: Forward the List to SendMeMoreWhen you have prepared the list for transfer, please send the following to import@SendMeMore.com and we will process the list as quickly as possible:
Your subscribers will receive an email from our service which will contain general information and the welcome message you specified when you created the list. Please allow 5 business days for SendMeMore Network Service to process your request.
